The LA Influence is bringing it with their first official Los Angeles Dance Company.
David Polon & Peter Araiza are teaming up to bring you a style unlike anything in Los Angeles.
We are looking for a minimum 12 dancers who are willing to be open minded to a unique blend of East Coast/West Coast Salsa. You don’t need to be a trained dancer. If you have a passion for the art and an itch to perform, we need you.

We are not just a salsa company…we will have routines in Rueda de Casino and more. If you are ready to take your dancing to the next level then this is the place for you!

Miguelito & Juan Carlos go way back, they’ve know each other since childhood and were in Raices Profundas together for almost a decade, touring Asia & South America. Miguel brings an ocean of wisdom in the area of Afro-Cuban music, he is currently living in Portland, OR and will be in the So. Cal area visiting for a week. During this time he will be available for teaching private and semi private percussion classes. He will also be featured at our next Noche Cubana event at the World Beat Center in San Diego on Saturday August 28.
Please tell as many people as possible about this unique opportunity to ensure a wonderful welcome for this momentous reunion between Miguelito & Juan Carlos. It’s sure to be off the hook!!

LA BOMBA’S BRAZILIAN DANCE INSTRUCTORS:
CRISTIANE CARLOS:
Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Cristiane is the typical Brazilian that loves dancing! She began jazz training when she was nine years old. At the age of ten she joined the dance group ‘Paquititas’ performing in many cities across Sao Paulo. Looking to improve her artistic skills, she joined the theatre company ‘Teatro da Cidade’ where she performed in musical stage plays.
In 1992 after her exposure to acting she was invited to dance on tour for the TV Globo show ‘Os Trapalhoes’. Always looking to further develop her dance skills Cris became an accomplished flamenco and belly dance performer and in 1998 became a belly dance instructor in Rio.
In 2006 Cristiane moved to Adelaide and decided to add authentic Brazilian flavour to the Samba and Axe scene and in 2008 commenced instructing, choreographing and performing SAMBA, AXE and BRAZILIAN FUNK with LA BOMBA.
Recently Cris has expanded her theatrical stage experience by showcasing samba in various productions by ‘A Wink and a Smile Burlesque’ at shows in the Adelaide Fringe Festival and Adelaide Fringe Cabaret Festival.
Cristiane is well known for her energetic, vivacious and authentic Brazilian dance classes – students LOVE Cris’s positive vibes and excitement, her passion for Brazilian dance is evident in her strong and encouraging voice, packed classes and spectacular student shows!

KADU:
Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Kadu has wealth of Brazilian dance experience to share with South Australia. Not only a professional in samba, axe, bolero and samba de Gafieira Kadu has also undertaken extensive training in Brazil specializing in Capoeira, Jazz, Ballroom as well as traditional and folkloric Brazilian dance styles.
Kadu has toured Brazil, Italy and beyond performing with Brazilian bands, dancing at CARNAVAL and various stage shows, he has also been contracted as a dance entertainer on cruise ships.
Kadu is an accredited Zumba trainer and qualified Samba De Gafieira instructor and has a burning desire to create a scene in Adelaide for this amazingly elegant and mesmerizing partnered Brazilian dance style.
La Bomba is proud to have Kadu join our crew of professional Latin dance instructors and we welcome a male Brazilian dance professional so we can have more boys in Adelaide dancing, enjoying and performing AUTHENTIC BRAZILIAN SAMBA.
