How many hours do we need to practice something to be good at it?
One of my students sent me by email something that she read a couple of
months ago and it says “To get the perfection on one thing,
you have to practice 10,000 hrs”
The other question is:
What happened if you have already practiced 5,000 hours of what you love?
5,000 hrs = 2 hrs a day of practice for 2500 days
2500days (with 365 days in a year) = 6.84 Years just to have
half of what this book said.
WOW, but what happened if you have been practicing the wrong way =(
Does this mean you have been wasted your time? The important thing is to learn and put into practice what you did learn and keep training the new and old techniques.

It was just something to think about …..

Aqui esta el curriculo nuevo para las personas que me lo han pedido…han habido unos cambios leves para que la escuela no se afecte por el GOP BOOTCAMP 2010 que se estara llevando en nuestras facilidades……
OJO…cabe notar que para este semestre se han abierto dos clases nuevas; 
*HIp Hop para Niños (7-13 años)
*Hip Hop Nivel Abierto

CURRICULO DE CLASES GOP DANCE
2nd SEMESTRE 2010 (JUNIO – AGOSTO)
Clases de Baile & Acrobacia especializadas para miembros de G.O.P. Dance y personas que desean entrenarse con los mejores.
LUNES: Salsa BASICA Clave 2 (Urban Dance Project de Pedro Avilés)
Duración: 1hr. 15 minutos (por sección)
Lugar: Salón de Baile (Zero Gravity) (Guaynabo, P.R.)
Las mismas serán en un horario “after-hour” para todos los que deseen
y quieran gozar de las mismas.
* 1er taller: 7:00 a 8:15pm Salsa Nivel Básico
LUNES: (Taller en Piso Acrobacia) Break 101
Break 101 (7:00 a 8:20pm) (Lunes)
Coreografía de piso desarrollamos diversas destrezas que te hacen obtener la milla extra en el mundo del baile tan competitivo de hoy.
Martes: (1ER TALLER) HIPHOP INTERMEDIO
HIP HOP Básico – Intermedio: (8:00 – 9:00pm)
Estilo clásico del género urbano dónde se retará tu conocimiento al exigirte más allá del simplemente memorizarte una coreografía o sección de conteo.
Miércoles: (1er Taller) Pop N’ Lock (L.A. Style)
Pop N’ Lock (L.A. Style) (7:00 – 8:00pm)
Clase especializada dónde uno de los mejores en este género dará cátedra de lo que es el Pop N’ Lock Comercial estilo L.A. Un taller que demostro ser más allá de lo interesante.
Jueves: (1er Taller) Hip Hop Básico
Hip HOP Básico: (7:30 – 8:30pm)
Clase dónde comenzaremos desde un nivel Fundamental para introducirte al interesante Mundo del género urbano bailable.
Sábados: (1er Taller) Hip Hop para NIÑOS
Hip HOP para NIÑOS: (11:00AM – 12:00PM)
Clase Fundamental para niños entre las edades de 7 a 13 años de edad dónde obtendrán la introducción a este mundo tan excitante del género urbano. Trae a tu niño que le encantará.
SABADOS: (2ndo Taller) Jazz Lírico
Jazz Lírico: (12:00 – 1:00pm)
Clase dirigida al desarrollo y mantenimiento de la técnica bailable que todo bailarín comercial debe poseer en su “background” de entrenamiento. El profesor te dará las herramientas necesarias para sobresalir en esta destreza tan competitiva y necesaria.
SABADOS: (3er Taller) Hip Hop “Abierto”
Hip HOP Abierto (1:00 a 2:00pm)
La misma será una clase de nivel abierto dónde el profesor te traerá una técnica diferente x taller dentro del extenso mundo del género urbano.
